Redmi is set to launch the budget-oriented Redmi 13C smartphone in India on December 6, 2023. The device features a 50 MP primary camera and will arrive in two colours-- Stardust Black and Star Shine Green. The phone will feature a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 90 Hz screen, and a 5,000 mAh battery.

Redmi India shared the launch date via a post on X (formerly Twitter) and a microsite on its official website. The teaser page reveals the complete design of the smartphone alongside colour models and primary camera specifications. Let’s get into the details.

Redmi 13C specifications

The microsite for Redmi 13C reveals a boxy design with flat edges and rounded corners. The camera module is placed at the top-left corner of the device, featuring three camera sensors, placed in two circular housings. The primary camera on the device is a 50 MP sensor. 

The camera module features the text “50 MP AI CAMERA” next to the LED flash. This entire setup resembles the style quotient of the Xiaomi 12 Pro’s camera placement.

 The Redmi 13C features a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18 W charging support. The device sports a triple rear camera setup, including a 50 MP primary camera, a 2 MP macro sensor, and an auxiliary lens. The phone comes with an 8 MP selfie camera on the front.
